True Story....

I was in a line of about 60 to get into target. I knew they’d have some toilet paper this morning. I also realized I needed Kleenex all the sudden because I have been sharing my stash. Limit was 1 per person so I grabbed one of each. What I didn’t realize is they meant one PAPER PRODUCT per person. That meant you had to CHOOSE between TP, paper towels, or Kleenex. I was devastated but chose to put away the Kleenex.

The woman behind me sees this. She offers to buy it for me. I told her I only have $5 cash and it was $8.49 plus tax. She said she was okay with the $5 and she wanted to do something nice for someone today and she chose me. She bought it in another line and met me outside. I had a $10 target gift card to offer, she declined. She only took my $5. I cried, told her I was splitting it with my father and kid siblings and promised to pay this forward somehow.

The regional center sends me wipes every month for Zay. He hardly needs half of what we get. I sent some to my Dad’s house already, but I still have some to share. So I hit up another mom from this app who lives near me, knowing she needed wipes. Long story short, I’m finally meeting her today. I’m excited because we have so fun talking together, but also because I get to pay this kind act forward to someone who really needs it.
