Avas come home today from school with a really high temperature, runny nose and not herself 🙁
I've googled every website and they say runny nose isn't a symptom, her temp is very high though, given calpol and it hasn't come down yet, i haven't spoken to the school yet, she gets a school bus home and when she got inside she felt really hot and went to sleep, hasn't wanted dinner or anything. So got to call her school in the morning and my sons aswell as I don't think he can go in can he? X
I’m guessing they will have asked you to keep her off? Originally 7 days but now the guidance is full family for 14 days
No she came home with the temperature, I've got to call her school in the morning and my sons if hes not aloud to go in to, so its 14 days we have to stay in? X
Yeah I understand it's scary but we have to try carry on as normal as we can....kids bounce back so easy and there saying kids havent seemed to catch it but the advice Is self isolate for 14 days x
They wont close the schools if they dont need to...more often than not kids get temps and all sorts ..if this wasnt going round ppl wudnt bat an eye lid about a temp and prob wud just be a cold ....x
Yeah your probably right, I'm just worried, ava catches all sorts from school, she goes to a disabled school so theres always loads of things going round x
Jist been announced anyone in the family is I'll then all family in household has to self isolate for 14 days x
Oh bless her , usually a runny nose isn’t a symptom so hopefully that’s reassuring but I’m sure they’ve said the full family has to self isolate for two weeks if anyone has a temp or cough xx
