I need some reassurance plz cuz I’m freaking out. Kyson has a cough/sneeze, very minor as if it was allergies, Friday. Saturday he still had it but nothing I would be concerned about. So he takes a nap then I notice his cheeks r super flushed. He’s burning up! I been giving him Tylenol all day, keep that in mind. So I take him to urgent care. They got 3 different temps. The head thermometer said 102. The armpit on said 99. The mouth one said 100. They said he was negative for flu but with everything going on they prescribed him the flu medicine. The pharmacy was already closed 🙄🙄. So Tylenol and a bath was the best I could do. His wasn’t as warm. Not flushed anymore. Fast forward to right now. He’s back to being warm, not as hot as earlier but hot enough. Thank god he woke up and I just gave him medicine. Plz tell me he’s ok and everything is ok?!!!!
I will be the first person in line at the pharmacy tomorrow!!

My son is going through this now. It seems like just a viral infection. It started with him not eating the other day. Then sneezing like allergies, now today a mild fever. I'm monitoring his fever. No meds for him right now. If it gets higher than 100.1 I will give him meds. Sad thing is we went to the grocery store a few days ago and a sick child was coughing. I can only assume that's how he got sick😔 I hope your little one feels better

Omg this makes me feel so much better. Yeah the doctor said he was negative for flu but it’s most likely still a viral infection so they prescribed the medicine. I was so happy they did instead of just use Motrin/Tylenol. I hope your little one gets better too!

The rapid tests for flu have an accuracy rate of 50-90 percent. That means a lot of false negatives. He very well could have the flu

That’s what the doctor said. Another reason they prescribed him the medicine.
