How do you deal with your kids not eating before they go to sleep but right when they go to sleep there hungry like wtf…

well if she doesn’t eat much I’ll just leave her dinner plate on the table until bedtime. So if she asks for food I’ll tell her the plate is still there and she can hurry and finish before she lays down. I won’t give her anything new. After dealing with her pickiness for years no I don’t feel bad. She needs to learn to eat when the food is available. I’m not providing a 24 hour buffet.

I agree with you.. This is also only my opinion... If they are hungry they will only wake mommy up for somthing so i make it easier on myself 😁

no my kids never wake up during the night to ask for food. Even if they barely ate any dinner. They knock out. I’m definitely not getting up in middle of the night to feed anyone. That’s what daytime is for.

I do the same but feel bad even if he doesn't wat dinner I left for him he wants something else so I give him something else because going to sleep hungry isnt the business

he will only do it once. Dont feel bad he wont starve himself missing 1 meal. He does it because you let him win by giving something else

and if he’s hungry, he will eat it. Unless it’s something he really just doesn’t like, but I know what things my kids just won’t touch no matter what. But kids do learn quick. I know if i start offering my kids something other than what I cook, they learn that it’s always an option. And that’s not an option. I refuse to cook several meals to satisfy everyone. Do I feel bad when they go to bed without eating? Yes, but I don’t want to start bad eating habits.

Ugh but can they sleep good at night when hungry I know I cant 😭
