Today is my son’s birthday. We had a little party planned with some of his friends from school and had a Spider Man coming to do games and stuff. He woke up running fever this morning so I cancelled the party and took him to urgent care and he tested positive for strep. I was talking to the lady at the front desk and she said that they’ve had at least 20 potential coronavirus patients come in, but because they don’t have access to tests, they’ve had to send them home. Our school district is the only one in our area that hasn’t closed yet and I’m starting to get worried about sending my kids next week. So now I’m sad that my baby is sick on his birthday and he’s heartbroken to not have a party, worrying about this virus and altogether just really having a crap day.

Venting!! I’m probably going to have to cancel my baby girls birthday party cuz No one wants to come cuz they are worried about the coronavirus. But yet they have been going out almost everyday with their friends drinking and doing other things. With their kids but can’t come to a birthday party for a family. My heart hurts for my baby. All she wanted for her birthday was for her cousin to come.
If schools open back up are you ladies sending any kids to school ??
