Asking for no visitors (with the exception of a few people of course as in immediate family) when we go in to have the baby Monday. Is that unreasonable? I really don’t care at this point with all the corona virus stuff going around I just don’t feel comfortable with having so many visitors around my newborn baby. 🤷🏼♀️

They actually called me earlier and said that there is only one entrance to the hospital open and when I get up front I will hav wrk let them know I’m coming to deliver. My husband will have to be screened before they even allow him into the hospital. No children allowed under the age of 14 at all and a limit of two visitors. Every single visitor will have to be screened as well before entering the hospital. Which I really appreciate. I have a fresh 48 session by but luckily she is just going to come take pics at my house after we get home. My mom and dad and in laws aren’t even coming so we have requested no visitors.
I'm not going to have visitors. I just hope they will let me mom be in the room with me. It's only 2 allowed at the hospital for delivery and if not they better let my husband

I never tell people when I’m having my little one
I always announce the arrival on the day I’m leaving the hospital
And once I get home I don’t post anything anymore or answer messages phone calls or texts
If someone knocks on the door I don’t open it
My family has keys so if it’s them they shouldn’t be knocking
I let family and friends visit once the little one is about 8 weeks old

Oh that sounds like a dream. My husband has a HUGE family and I know some of them are going to be really upset but this is our baby and our decision. They will just have to get over it. 🤷🏼♀️

My husband has a huge family and some come from out of state
But I’ve already made it clear that no visits till I feel ok
I’m having a c section so his whole family wants to come help but I rather not have so many around
I’m not having a baby shower so I told everyone that once I’m feeling better I’ll be having a BBQ so everyone can meet the baby

I Have a question mommies I’m a First Time Mom and everyone keeps saying when my baby get here there gonna take my baby but I don’t trust people like that and I promise I’m not trying to be mean but I don’t want anyone to have a my baby and I know people are going to ask so my question is How do you say no without being mean ?🤔 I don’t even plan on letting my child spend the night with people when he gets older it’s just so much happen to me as a kid and I don’t want that for my baby
Visitors after birth I could go into labour any day now and have just realized there are going to be lots of people who want to meet bub.
My significant other hasn’t been to one appt. am I crazy for being bothered about it? I’m already depressed I’m having another baby. I didn’t even want anymore. I feel like I don’t have the support I need.
Does anyone else not take their baby to like baby groups or mum and baby groups? My health visitor always goes on about them but they’re just not my thing. I have really bad anxiety. It’s made worse when I’m around strangers and groups. They’re just not for me🙄

I'm sure you have but if you haven't, you might want to ask the hospital if they're even allowing visitors at all at this point. So many people have said their hospitals are making stricter policies on allowing people in the hospital that dont need to be now. But theres nothing wrong with not having as many people there if that's what you want, that's what I did! I didnt even tell anyone until after I had them.
