Coronavirus crisis is mad annoying.
My husband called me informing me that they are closing the schools for an additional week(spring break starts Monday). Hopefully they don’t close daycares too cause idk what we would do.

My question that my kids preschool hasnt answered yet is if the school closes am I still going to have to pay them as though he's there to hold his spot. I understand paying when on vacation but if its mandated, then what. I'll have to find someone to watch my kids which will cost money and I cant do both payments.

That’s what I was thinking about. I don’t think they should but then again when we have to evacuate during hurricane season they still try to charge.

@mommin.it my kids preschool is so greedy when it comes to money I'm sure theyll make us pay. Like you said they made us pay during the hurricane when they were closed for 2 weeks and they didnt even pay the teachers for those 2 weeks..atleast if I'm gonna pay I'd like to know the teachers are getting paid

Since they’ve closed colleges, there will be plenty of available sitters. 🤣
@mommin.it, I have two coming Monday I just hope it doesn’t bring the virus into my home it’s a risk no doubt

This right here! Working parents will be left scrambling. It completely sucks! I don’t know what we’ll do. Our colleges are closed now, so I’m sure elementaries aren’t far behind.

Most of our local daycares are closing with the school closings. Basically anything that puts large groups together. You’ll be better off to find a private sitter.

Thats coming.. in Ontario anyway. Theyve closed schools from the 14th of march to the 5th of april. Daycares will end up closing as well
