you know you've been through it when living in a shelter is 5 times better than either of the places you were staying at previously. which was my family (mom, stepdad, gma and uncle's 2 bd apartment and my kids father 2 bd townhome) both places were so stressful and negative. the only worry here is other people getting us sick and sometimes it's a little hard for my daughter to go to sleep when the other little ones are still playing but that's about it.
