Nipple cream, it will be your best friend if you do decide to pump/breastfeed x

I didn’t buy a Moses basket this time. I got a napper rocker instead. It turns into a bouncer so a space saver and money saver xx

See about local feeing team nhs they can probably give you a pump on loan for a bit so you know it will work for you without the outlay in Costs of buying for yourself.
Agree with above no cot bumpers both mine use sleeping bags from about six months. Both also roll about and knock off the cot sides but it doesn’t wake them so obviously didn’t hurt them.
Also agree no need for talc, I liked metanium nappy rash cream and sudocrem.
Other things I would add are car seat and for your hats I bought tiny baby and they fitted my 9lb boy perfectly. I find they always sit loose on newborns heads. My girl was premature so everything was too big 😂
Swaddle blankets or muslins are good again both in f mine settled well being swaddled

Are you planning on breastfeeding? If so don’t buy the pump until you know breastfeeding will be something you carry on with. They’re expensive and you may not get use out of it.

@shannontalbot1997, ah that makes sense. I’ve no experience of exclusively pumping but definitely talk to your midwife or health visitor to help find the best and most efficient pump for you.

@shannontalbot1997, I’m not 100% sure. I know you can buy adaptors for the TT milk bags so you should be able to for bottles as well. I had that pump for a while, and tbh I didn’t really rate it. might be worth getting the adaptors and a different pump. I’m sure I got them on amazon. The medela pump is good and usually on offer somewhere and comes in twin version as well. Like someone said you might be able to loan one.

@shannontalbot1997 So did I, but apparently they're more likely to cause serious harm and have been known to kill babies. But no one would know unless you looked them up or the midwife tells you because they dont put warnings on them xx

@shannontalbot1997 No they've been known to cause Sids and babies get tangled in them. Just need the blanket they will use and make sure they're tucked in. And mines BT I think and is reduced to £99 on Amazon xx
