How much should I be paying the babysitter per week?

Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. Is it fair to ask a babysitter to not take the baby anywhere?

Is this a bite mark !?? Babysitter didn’t tell me anything about her being bitten. So I’m not sure what it could be.
