Anyone have psoriatic arthritis?

@mommaofjais yeah. 😩 it sucks. It wasn't so bad when I was younger but, my flare ups have gotten worse. I have prescriptions & my dermatologist said even though it has gotten worse it's still considered mild compared to others. So he didn't want to prescribe me pills or anything because, of the side effects. So far my son hasn't shown signs of it but, my daughter has the geographical tongue & is something people with psoriasis can get. So she might end up with it later on. 😔 my grandmother & mother both have it as well. I have it on my chest too & under my breasts. Is there anything that you take that is working for you? & okay, thank you for asking. I will make sure to let my doctor know. Do you take anything for the aches & pains? I just take ibuprofen.

@bibichanxo, Mine is considered mild as well so I don’t take anything. I used to take naproxen for flare ups but decided to just deal with it bc I absolutely hate taking medication. So, unless I’m hurting really bad, I won’t take anything. I was prescribed some kinda ointment, can’t remember what now, last year and it didn’t do anything for me. My dad has it really really bad and swears by this clay type stuff. It’s all natural and it helps clear him up. But I don’t think it’s very cheap and I’m not sure where to get it. I think it’s local. My dad, me and my little brother are the only ones I know that have psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis. I hope your daughter doesn’t end up with it. 😕 it’s a mean disease. I can already see it messing up the shape of my index finger. I’m a pianist and it breaks my heart to think one day I won’t be able to play.
