My 12 year old asked me if I saw his gym bag. I told him it’s in the closest. He said he already looked and didn’t see, but will look again. I went to go look after he “looked” and he said I already checked it, it’s not there. But it was there, under another bag that he didn’t bother to lift up 😂😂😂😂. This kid is just like his father, doesn’t fully look for anything only takes a glance.

Ugh I hear that. My dh and boys are the same way. Something could be right in front of their faces and they “can’t see it” like for real dudes

My mom would have this saying when looking for something that’s right infront of you “if it was a snake, it would’ve gotten you by now” 😂😂😂.

@latina593, yes my mom said “if it had teeth it would have bitten u” lol. Oh the funny sayings our parents said that we now say. My other fav is “people in hell want ice water” when my kids say they want something they can’t have lol!
