I mean, I got swine flu when that was going around like crazy. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks. So this is like PTSD

We just got a huge blast of notifications here in upstate NY. My phone , and a few people at hubby's work all got notification saying to avoid high traffic areas, hospitals and more. And to expect school closings in bigger cities. Kinda scares me. Scared him enough to call off our mall trip

I read this book a few years ago about a type of bird flu that mutated and transferred to humans and had a 40% death rate. The book about a mom and her family and everything that happened over the 6 month period of the pandemic. It kind of worried me at the time that something like that could really happen, because there was so much shit that never occurred to me that would happen. And now I wish I’d never read the damn thing because now everything is talking about this damn virus and it’s starting to freak me out a little.

They said last night 80% of us citizens will have it by the end of the year. We already had a case confirmed in my local hospital but nobody is really talking about how bad it already is. We were told to stock up and get ready this week 🙁 because the time is coming it will be so out of control no telling what that man touched in my stores before being diagnosed

I don’t watch the news or have social media so that helps lol barely heard anything about it

YAS girl!!!! Our county just issued a “if there’s a confirmed case in our county schools are closing for 30 days”. Like. WHAT?

🙋‍♀️ they stop for a few days, then fear monger a few days, stop and start again. 🙄 we know. Its bad. Be careful. Dont travel blah blah blah.
