I like to keep things simple , every couple months I go through my things and throw away or give away items I notice I do not need or use. My husband is the complete opposite , he holds onto EVERYTHING, it can be a free pamphlet given to him at a fair 5 years ago 😒 well question is does anyone else have this issue and how do u deal with it?
I used to little by little throw his unnecessary clutter away but now he spots them in the trash and takes them out 😅

My husband has a lot of unessacary shit, but theres a reason he keeps it, so I wouldn't just throw it away without his permission, now would I move it and organize it, so it's not just there haunting me? Yes.
I would be pissed if my husband threw something of mine away while I was at work!! You might think it’s unnecessary clutter, but to him, it’s holding some kind of meaning. If you value your relationship, talk to him and try to involve him in the process.
This is a really good point. I only throw out DH stuff that I known is pointless that he just forgets about like old receipts that have no purpose.
