Ok so the baby one and a half just climbed out of the crib unexpectedly she is ok and I think it's safer if she had a cot or toddler bed any one agree with me ?

My baby boy transitioned to just his mattress on the floor for a couple of weeks to get him familiar with the boundaries of the bed then to a toddler bed when he was about 15 months old. Best decision ever. He kept getting his legs stuck in the bars of the crib.

no problem girl! His thigh would always get stuck too but he wouldn’t cry and I would go to get him in the morning and he would just be laying there stuck. I couldn’t take it anymore so I just baby proofed the heck out of his room and attached everything to the wall and out his mattress on the floor.

you sound like my kind of mom!!!!!!

Try putting the mattress on the floor inside the crib, if you can. It should prolong the time she’s in there. Otherwise it’s time for a toddler bed

Yes I was thinking of that too so she can't have a hieght to climb out
