Front facing my Sons car seat? I know the new laws say to wait till they are 2 years old but what are y’all options on it? My son is about 3 feet tall and he’s 17 months old? When I go to get him out of the car his legs are always scrunched up!
What's It To You?·
He'll find a way to sit comfortably. They always do. Safety over comfort. Follow the law, hell surpass it and rf as long as possible.

well hop tf off. Your opinion was stated and nobody wanted to hear it anyways. Don’t have to see my shit block a bitch

@dr.google, her option was stated then hopped onto another comment.

@dr.google, I can do what ever I want

Children should ideally rear face until 4 years old. It is irresponsible parenting and dangerous to Forward face before the bare minimum of 2. But 4 or over is ideal.

@bodybycheetos, CPST! I was I let my certification lapse (and I was actually a CPST-I...I certified other people to be CPSTs)

that's so cool! I was looking into that but there weren't enough of us at the last base so they didn't do the class they had set up 🙄
squishymommy1··
yeah we required at least 10 confirmed people to do a class.

Definitely keep him rear facing. His legs will be fine.

I agree with everyone commenting. It’s better to be safe than sorry if something unfortunate should happen. He’ll find a way to get comfy. I plan to keep my kids rear facing for as long as I can.

Both my kids maxed out rear facing before I turned them ff and they both complained that having dangling legs was uncomfortable. Follow the law, and ideally go until they max out rf limits.
Uhhhh··
Same. My oldest sat cross crossed forward facing for the longest time so her legs wouldn't dangle 😂

My almost 3 year old is more than 3 feet tall and she still rear faces no problem. Legs scrunched up is not a big deal for kids

Every state has its laws. I would follow them. I have an almost 3 year old and just started facing him forward a few months ago

Need to rear face until at least 2 longer is better. I know it’s tempting to turn them but it’s for their safety
