So my mom thought it was funny to text me asking if my 3 year old came home? I said no and she said she was outside its raining and I did not see her I started to freak out but head to my moms house before i called the cops thinking someone took my daughter and she had her abd I told her it was not funny I took my daughter and went home. I am so pissed off at her.

If someone pulled something like that with me they wouldn't watch my kids for a looooong time. Thats just cruel and in no way funny. I feel like that's every parents worst fear. I'm sorry she did that, I couldn't imagine the panic you must have felt. 😩

FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I would be mad too, this is why I don't let my mom watch my kids because my mom gets too comfortable when watching people's kids and thinks she can take people's kids without asking permission, she took my kids aunts out of school one day without permission, she also took my aunts one year old to Kentucky once without permission so I just dont let my mom watch my kids because this is something my mom would do to me.
