What bothers me about this is I don’t get why people would choose to not go the extra mile to ensure their children’s absolute safety.. 🤷🏻♀️ Like c’mon.

I feel that. My husbands cousin has 9 kids the youngest just under a year and she's never had a carseat. I was like uhmm what?! How did you leave the hospital? You have 9 other kids and you don't even have an expired ass one to use?!

Oh and FYI : Also if anyone needs tips on how to properly install or use one besides the crap load of online resources we have the luxury of using , most fire stations will install for u and teach at the same time and even provide car seats to family’s in need.

Yes I know people who stop using car seats or boosters altogether once their kids hit 4 years old but heaven forbid you tell them about it they act like your telling them how to raise their children

Girl I could have killed my sister in law. She buckled up my son told me she new how she babysat so I believed the bitch. His could have crawled out it was so loose. I was so pissed and she just laughed and said I didn’t know how to tighten it

My mom still gets pressed when I correct her with the car seats when she in town visiting but ya know...these are my children. I’m never going to just be like okay, that’s good enough. Nope.

the worst part is she KNOWS better. all parents should know about car seat safety, but at least ignorance is somewhat understandable. knowingly putting a child in danger is sick(.)

@love_linds, My son is almost two. When he turns two he’ll meet the age and height requirements but not the weight. My fiancé is literally car shopping cause our Jeep is compact and he’s tall and it’ll be hard to rear face both in it if he’s driving . We don’t plan on turning around anytime soon. Scary that parents will let their SO take over when it comes to safety on their children . Truly scares me some people are able to have kids

girl, yes!!! You adapt to your kids...your kids should not have to adapt to you. Some parents make themselves their number one priority & it just can’t be that way. Take care of yourself once you know your kids are cared for. It’s not that difficult!! We rear faced until 4yrs old & I wouldn’t of turned him a day sooner.

It really irks me when parents take the time to buckle their seatbelts correctly but not their poor babies who can't do it themselves. 😭😭😭

Me too, girl. Like damn.
And I get not having the money but I think in that case...you don’t get in the vehicle for nothing!!! I’d be home bound until I found the means to securely travel with my children. I just can’t.
