Advice needed. My youngest is afraid to poop in the toilet. She literally tried her hardest to hold it in and gets constipated. She goes to pee fine. Any of you mamas been through this??

Both my kids were like that. They pooped in pull-ups until they were ready. It was rough but I had to be patient with them

Yeah I’m at that point girl she’s only comfortable pooping standing up either in a pull up or undies. 😫 it’s been a struggle for awhile now

@dontspankme, I know we struggled with it for almost a year after my oldest was trained. We just kept talking about pooping on the potty and when he was ready he let me know. It’s frustrating but it’s all about when their are ready
My daughter does this sometimes. I’ve been telling her everyone poops and I’ll even tell her when I poop. TMI but it works. Be open about your bowel movements to her and see if that helps

We all showed her how we poop lol she’s let it go in the toilet only twice. How’s your daughter doing with number 2 and what has helped?

@bbgirlmama, ugh I’m sorry I know it’s hard on both of y’all. I have to watch her like a hawk I just saw her clenching her legs together and took her to the toilet and kept counting to three pushing hard, stop breath and keep trying until it came out.

Another mom told me about her sons experience with this. She said she’d sit him on the potty and make him blow bubbles. Something about it helped him relax and the blowing got it flowing out of him. I never tried it but she said her pediatrician at the time suggested it.

@bunsinmyoven, I tried it and she was making spit bubbles lol still kinda helped since it finally came out!
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
TWW!! 2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

My oldest was like this. I had to make a treasure box with cheap toys and that really helped. Even now at almost 5 he has his weeks where he'll hold it in which makes him constipated, when he starts telling me he has to poop butnwont go I'll give him my phone to relax him
