So changing my daughter diaper I see that she has a poop in her butt. It like looked like it was pushing out so I tried to help by pushing her knees back and using a wipe to help it come out but she like stopped pushing and it went back in.
Now I thought I was tripping he the other day when I was cleaning her and I thought I say her pushing but I looked again and nothing was there.
So it’s been 2 days since hen and she hasn’t poop.
When I touched the poop it was very soft but still solid.
My husband said if she not crying while she was pushing then she’s ok and it will be pushed out when she’s ready.
Thoughts please because I just trying not to freak out and take her to the ER like I didn’t when she was actually teething and I thought she was dehydrated.

Put Vaseline on a q tip and put it in a little bit . We had to help my son poop this way for awhile . It worked well. Move it around a tiny bit until she goes.

@allyzmommyxlw, I just did this method and she went.
I know she has to go again but she strained enough and the poop was harder than I thought .
I’m gonna let her breastfeed and then try again a little later .

thank you ladies for an immediate and she did t fuss at all with the q yup either and when she poop it went quickly hardly a fuss.

^ that was the same advise given to us by my sons doctor. It helped him so much.

DEFINITELY not ER worthy. I'm with your husband, if she's not in pain or uncomfortable just let the girl poop. It'll come out. You could give her a little watered down prune juice or somethin to make ya feel a little better but I really think she is fine.
