My heart is breaking I stg. Last night was so rough. We took him in around 12 with a HIGH fever of 104. Went down to 100 when we got to the hospital so maybe it was so high from him sleeping, they swabbed his nose, gave him so more medicine, prescribed me with stuff and sent us home, told us it could be the flu. I just don’t see the flu being like this but I also heard it’s bad this year.
Poor baby I hope he gets better 😩

He’s just being a bum. He just wants to lay, he hasn’t done anything this morning. I called and they said it was negative for flu but positive for RSV. I don’t even understand how he got that. We don’t do anything or see anyone else besides my parents and they were both fine

You haven’t gotten the results back yet? My son had type A back in December and he was absolutely miserable. At one point his fever was 103.5 and he was losing consciousness. Hope your lo is feeling better soon!

They didn't tell you if his swab was positive or negative? Did they swab for strep? Strep can make you run a high fever as well. Either way, I hope he feels better soon. ❤

Nooo they swabbed him and sent us home. I think I’m going to call them. This just doesn’t seem like flu symptoms to me. They looked in his throat and it looked red but not irritated the doctor said.

My toddler and I had the flu together he doesn’t go to daycare either ,I’ve never had the flu in my life and my entire body ached like I never felt and my toddler and I barely ate,hope your son feels better keep him hydrated and get rest

The flu is really bad this year
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..
Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill? He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over tonight and run it by him...

That had happened twice with my daughter. And one time she threw up the medicine and had to give her a bath to see if her fever goes down.( her dr. Told me to do that) that day I was freaken out she wasn't making any sense. And all both time its just a virus.😏 thank god been 2 months from last time she had a fever that high. Hope its stay like that till summer. Hope ur son feels better soon.
