Yea no gels for teething. They say it toughens up the gums and takes longer for the teeth to come in so your just prolonging the pain

I bought this little mesh thing they sell at pretty much every store that u can put frozen fruits and things in it for then to bite on

I just did cold washcloths for her to bite on. I know some gels aren't recommended because they can paralyze swallow function and the baby can choke. At least that was the issue when my daughter was a baby.

I believe Gels are no longer recommend for teething due to one of the ingredients.
