Empowerment. Last night at the gym there was an older lady standing next to me at barre class. She’d never taken a barre class before so she didn’t know how the teacher ran the class. So I helped her out along the way. At the end of class she asked my name and we introduced ourselves. She thanked me for helping her and told me she would be there next week. I said I’m always here so if love to see her again. Then she asked for a selfie with me for her accountability post, so even though I looked like crap I obliged, and we took a selfie. Now that was empowering to both her and I. She was a very sweet lady and I hope she comes back to class, even though she tried to steal my spot at the bar lol. If u take a workout class u know u like the same spot every week right? Anyway I felt like it needed to be shared and I hope someone reads this cause I didn’t wanna make another post about it. I really wish I took a selfie on my phone with her too cause if love to share that here. So who knows what platform she shares my ratchet pic after sweating my ass off for an hour lol.

Self love to me: is being YOU and loving it, in every aspect of life! Owning it, rocking it and being it! Without no regrets and apologies! ❤

Self love to me means loving myself no matter what Good days and bad. It also means taking care of myself and not allowing people to treat me as less then.

To me self love is, like many of u, feeling good about myself for the way I am. Working hard to keep in shape is how I self love. I actually enjoy working out cause it’s for me and me only. Also asking for help when needed is a form of my self love. I know myself well enough to know when I need help and I’m not ashamed or afraid to ask for it.
I love to help empower other women. One way I do that is at the gym but helping others out if they need it. Just a few things I enjoy doing!

To me self love is doing things for Me. Loving my body , my confidence, my brain etc.
I will do what makes me happy.

Empowering is always standing behind women and their choices. We as women can do as we please. We should not be held to a different standing than men.

Self love to me is doing things that make ME happy. Being comfortable in my own skin and feeling proud to show off what I work so hard for. And it is okay to hype people up when they are confident, and feeling beautiful- whether it's doing their makeup funky and loud because they're proud of that talent, or not wearing makeup because they are proud of the condition their skin is in. Or something they're wearing because they worked hard to feel confident in how they look. OR they are proud about how they're doing mentally. The list goes on and on.
Give someone a compliment today!

Self love to me is realizing when I need help and asking for it. Struggling with mental health and knowing when it’s getting bad and taking time for me.

Self love is loving and accepting everything about you. Being comfortable in your own skin. Not being afraid to express yourself and being the happiest you can be.

Empowering women is celebrating women for their choices. Whether that’s future jobs, speaking up etc.

I am aware of that other post and honestly if I was 50 and looked like that I would 100% show off because I’d feel amazing and happy about myself. People need to stop judging.
