I’m almost ready for my dad to have this urgent surgery and run two households and four kids around somehow. Before that, self care is everything right now...

My Dad found out right before he moved that he had a hernia and to just watch it. Well he coughed and felt something rip and it was that. He meets the surgeon and schedules it tomorrow for ASAP. He’s moved out so now there’s two houses to deal with and four kids needing to get to school for 2-3 weeks. At least he’s 15 minutes from my house

This will be the third surgery I’ve dealt with in less than 5 weeks. I’m being so careful not to injure myself or do anything that will take me down because I’m the only functioning adult left to help out for 100 miles.
