Does anyone know if your baby has health issues is it a reason to get induced?? My baby boy has hydronephrosis (dilated kidney) and its moderate and 3 weeks ago his kidney got bigger and they say its moderate... I have another sonogram in 2 weeks ... it makes me sad and worried that my baby has to go through this and hopefully induced is an option

It's my turn ladies! Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. If it's something the Dr is concerned about, then yes. But I'm sure he/she would tell you if they thought it was beneficial to induce. Hydronephrosis is so fucking painful. I had it with my first pregnancy and was on antibiotics the whole time.

Hopefully something is done about it... its something pretty serious. And omg I could only imagine your pain

I'm not sure there is much they can do honestly. Put in a stent to drain fluid possibly. I wouldn't worry unless the Dr starts to get worried though.
