So Mama's, I have a question.who had had their tubes "fixed". Cut, tied, burned, removed, whatever. Was is right away? With a C-section? Natural birth? Did you breastfeed? Did it affect supply? What was the process before, during and after like. How do you feel now? I need to know it all lol bc I've decided that what I want to do, but I'm a bit scared lol

@netflix.and.momlife that's what they keep telling me too. I'm nervous about how it'll affect supply and everything. But I think having it done so early wont affect it as much if any

they told me they'll do it during my csection which will only take 10 mins extra. Recovery will be the same. Also they told me I'll have no side effects what's so ever since it's not hormonal or anything. They literally just clip two bands on both side I've my ovaries so it'll block the egg from going through. So I'll still get my periods normal n breastfeed n stuff.

I had mine done an hour after a natural birth. They just added more meds to my epidural and took me in. It was about a 45 minute surgery. I was a little sore, but the gas they use for the surgery hurts in your chest/shoulder for a few days. Didn't breastfeed...I love it

Here in MN the remove the tubes. Reduced ovarian cancer by a ton. I have been considering it for months. Just haven’t done it. “They” say recovery is a sinch and it is three tiny cuts. ????

That's true. I had my removed. The worst pain was from the gas they used for surgery. I had horrible shoulder pain. I don't remember the pain in my pelvic area. It was pretty minor and just two cuts. I can't even see the scars now.

oh wow. When I had my gallbladder removed I had the same gas pains. That kicked my ass more than the surgery

I had my removed 5 months after birth. It didn't affect my supply. It did make me have terrible cramps during my cycle. That's pretty much it though
