I keep ummin and ahhing about a second baby and part of me feels guilty when I see people with 2, 3 , 4 kids like I think how can they do it but I find having one so difficult? I take my job very seriously so that makes it harder to think about giving it up, and I was practically rocking back and forth from Bordem on maternity leave so I cant imagine not working and spending every waking second with little people and that makes me feel like I'm failing

You are not failing! I also want to have another baby but the times just not right for us at the moment. I'm 31 aswell so I'm not exactly "young" anymore but I'm setting myself a time frame of by 35 😊👌 Don't put so much pressure on yourself and carry on with your job and your little one as you are, theres no need to rush things. Maybe set yourself an age you'd like another baby by and work towards that regarding everything else. Xx

You’re not failing. There’s nothing wrong with being career driven. For to long women have been made to feel like they should stay home and love every minute of it! I didn’t have my son until I was 36 and was made redundant through company closure around the same time so the choice was made for me. I’m happy to be home with the kids now but I wouldn’t have been when I was first building my career. Do what’s right for you, happy mum means happy kid/s.

Some people just naturally deal with many kids and love staying home with them and many are very career driven and that’s totally normal hun! Nothing wrong with that!
My older sister is early 30s and really wants kids but her partner isn’t ready and she doesn’t know how it will all work out with her career. She worries how she will afford things and stuff like that. She’s always been very career driven etc.
Whatever you decide make sure it’s the best choice for yourself hun! There’s really no right or wrong with this. Aslong as you’re happy that’s all that matters xx

I always wanted to be 27 before I had kids, and have Close age gaps :)
But I got pregnant when I was 19! I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world 😋 I want more but just waiting for my partner to be ready.. he wants to have more of a career first also :) but honestly I’m very happy currently! He’s amazing support and couldn’t ask for anything else! It’s perfect either way xx

You’re not failing, I work and for the most part enjoy my work. I haven’t went back yet as had a lot of annual leave to use. I know what you mean about being bored before going back to work, I think it’s because you know you are going back if that makes sense? I have no idea how I will cope but meal prep and extra vests if I skip a washing day will be my plan 😂

Thanks everyone. I'm 29 but my partner has 39 and didnt want any after 40 so I felt very pressured of it's either job or baby right now and I'm also in probation period of my job, which I love. But he has mentioned hed be willing to push his time limit back and I think that would really help having my almost 2 year old in school or at least qualifying for some free nursery as I currently pay full cost.

My daughter is 6 and I've been with my partner a few months. I'm almost 28 and he is 41. He would love 1 child of his own however I don't want anymore until like 32/33 which would make him 46ish he said he would wait no longer than then as he doesn't want to be in his 70's when our child turns 18. Childcare is expensive too which stresses me out xxx
