I think it depends on the doctor.
With my first two kids I had ro fast for houes then go in and drink the stuff and wait. My other two they said I could eat, just nothing caffeinated or sugary, up until an hour before (I think) I was to drink the stuff and then come in.
Its different now. They told me I can eat but I feel like they tryna set me up to fail for the 3 hour one so I'm not going to eat but just drink water lmao😂
That’s how I felt my first pregnancy lol bc she asked had I ate or had anything to drink and I said just water and I failed. Lol. And idk if he’s doing it today, he just said it’s coming up so idk 🙄🙄
You don’t have to but I ate like a biscuit with cheese egg and sausage and failed the test lol I would just not eat before the test to save you from having to do the 3 hour test

Every doctor is different. You have to ask them what they want. I wish they would all be the same but they aren’t!
Sooo I just have to fast 3 hours before.
