I’m frustrated with my boss. She got on me because I was out yesterday. (I used my earned sick time so it was an excused absence) apparently she’s mad about the performance or lack of. But why am I getting yelled at? Because I was sick and didn’t help the performance. 🙄
Why would I come in with a fever and risk getting other sick and then having multiple people call out vs only me calling out. So stupid. And it was my earned time off. I refused to sign the write up.

You had a fever that’s grounds for staying home. It’s like when your kids have a fever and they can’t go to school, it’s just not allowed. My boss tried to make me come to work and bring my sons with me(worked at his day care) when he had a fever and pneumonia. My mom was like “she can’t make you, she will get in trouble for having him there sick like that.”

Exactly. If it was just some congestion and whatnot I would’ve gone in. But a fever? Heck no am I going in. And like I said it was excused because I used my earned sick time. HR dropped the write up because it was excused.
