Wwyd

My husband, daughter, and I all have birthdays within ten days of each other in November.

My daughter has been an only child for a while now (6+ yrs depending when we actually get pregnant) .

We're ttc so should we skip next month or try? If we get pregnant it will be a November baby. I don't want to steal my daughter's thunder and but it would be easy if we had a baby that had a birthday like the rest of us.

We currently have one big family party and my daughter also gets a party with her friends.

My biggest nightmare would be delivering on her birthday or her birthday party. Idk what to do 😫😫

I would skip this month.

I tried to keep my boys spaced out enough that they had their own celebrations. You want them to feel special on their day & you’d feel less inclined to combine birthday parties if they were separated a bit.

I would just start trying. You never know how long it might take. Your daughter will be so excited to have a new baby sibling that she wont mind. If it just so happened that you have the baby on her birthday or birthday party day, you could have her stop by the hospital and have cake, balloons, and a present there for her. It would make her feel very special

That's a good point too. She's beyond excited about having a sibling. And I think she'll be old enough to understand.

If it were me, I’d skip it honestly. I always tried to keep my kids birthdays separated for this reason. I have January, June & September so it worked out so far. But if we have another, I’ll be trying to do it the same way.

I'm just worried the baby would feel left out if we're all in November lol

I doubt it lol. I know someone who four of them are the same week one day apart from the next except their one kid and she never cared, she loved having her birthday all to herself lol.

I wouldn’t skip whatever happens happens. My sisters kids share a bday and it works well for them their oldest was very much used to the world revolving around her and she’s just fine with it. My cousin also has children who share a bday and her older child says I got a baby brother for my birthday she’s a teenager now and still doesn’t mind sharing her day

I would try to skip november, December, and Jan. November since its your daughters bday. And the other two because if you celebrate Christmas those months seem to suck for bdays. Like my youngest will be 1 tomorrow and since we just had Christmas and she got loaded up with toys and clothes I honestly didn't even know what to buy her it took me forever to figure out, plus everyone coming to her party kept calling me asking what to buy since they just got her Christmas too. And December is worse I have a cousin whose bday is Dec 23rd and he never really gets to celebrate his bday 😢

Yeah. My daughter was born a week before Christmas. I usually just ask for gift cards or money for her savings account if people ask. I tell them to just bring themselves and just to celebrate with us.

I wouldn’t skip personally. Hopefully it’s not hard for you but it could take awhile to get pregnant

You can still make their birthdays special

Good luck to you

Yo mama

Don’t skip if for a birthday. Keep in mind that Christmas is the next month too. So there’s no perfect time. My boys birthdays are 13 days apart. A week after Christmas. I wish we would of planned it better because it’s expensive lol. Not because they can’t share a month.
