Ttc question...
I started using opk test and yesterday I got my first positive. So I've read contradicting info online.
Some sites say to do the baby dance two days before the positive opk. Others say start that day and the day after.
Another site I read said that you can conceive within the first 24 hours after the egg has been released.
I'm just super confused. I conceived my daughter after being on bc for ten years and wasn't tracking my ovulation or anything.
Just trying to educate myself better since I'm hoping to be pregnant by the end of the year.

You are fertile the week of ovulation. But once the egg is released you have a 24 hour period. So have sex before or on that day (sperm can survive for like 5-7days in there) so when you use the opk have sex that day and the maybe the day after in case its still in the eggs 24 hour period. But if you know ovulation is gonna happen that week have sex all week. 😅

a dark positive opk normally means the egg has been released. If its kinda faint your still fertile but it means the egg hasn't released yet. At least that's what my doctor told me when I was trying for my first. If that's helps also. Lol

You can def still conceive within 24 hrs after the egg is released. Just start doin the baby dance now that it’s positive! I also read you should have sex every OTHER day when you’re in your fertile period because it gives the sperm count a chance to build back up

That's awesome. We'll start doing that. It says on ovia that I'm fertile for like 5 days so we'll just increase and do every other day around then I guess
