At how many weeks did your doctor began to check your cervix? On the 27th I have my apt after that it will be every week... also when did they do a membrane sweep? I remember with my 1st child that sent me into labor the next day

36 week is when they can check ypu and membrane sweep is not till 38 weeks

I was checked at 36 weeks because I requested to be. But normally my drs office doesn’t check unless you’re being induced or are in labor and delivery.

I go to a high risk office and they will do a membrane sweep a few days/week before your induction.

With my first pregnancy I was checked at 36 weeks. Membrane sweep at 39 weeks (it didn't put me into labor, I was induced at 41 weeks)
With my second I denied getting checked until I had contractions which was 38 weeks. I went into labor the next day 😂

37 weeks earliest to get checked just in case it might put you into labour, and I was always able to choose or request a membrane sweep any time from 37 weeks on. I did one at 39 weeks with my first because I wasnt dilated at all until then, and at 38 with my second. Regardless, both babies came at 39+4 and 39+3.
