On another note, I’m completely done with putting my toddler to sleep. It’s damn near impossible and I feel like a terrible mother because I’ll try to stay calm, I’ll try to use all the tips I’ve read about, but then things just take a turn for the worse. I hate bedtime.
Favorite tv show till he relax lay n bed till he do
@two.tiny.texans, yeah he has a toddler bed, but he knows how to climb in out of his sisters crib so it wouldn’t have worked! 😭
Awww....
If it makes you feel any better mine has been hell at bedtime with throwing a fit for a couple of months. He is getting back to normal now though
@kush_queen420, I’ve been hold off of doing this because we share a room and it has a private bathroom, so I don’t want him to go exploring and get into something, but I guess if I sit by the door I’ll be able to hear him. Thanks! Ima try it cause I’m desperate at this point, bedtime got me feeling like the boogie monster
Maybe get a baby gate or alarm I had to get a alarm when my older kids were young because they would just do that all night smh scared there ass straight to bed 😂
Is he in a bed? Lol mine is still in a crib because he's never tried to climb out
Take there lightbulb out of there room take them in there lay them down story bath etc.. then sit outside the room everytime they get up take them back in no talking or eye contact and do that until they fall asleep it might take a hr but keep doin it every night
I had this problem with my son. I literally had to stand or sit next to his bed staring at him until he fell asleep. If he tried to get up I wouldn’t say anything I’d just lay him back down. I think he realized he wasn’t going to be allowed to get up. I think the longest I sat with him was 10 mins but it was typically 5 mins or so before he fell asleep.
