Y'all I'm about to break the news to my dad that my family is moving 8.5 hours away in about 6 weeks 😬 I'm freaking out about this whole thing!
I've never been more than 30 min from him. We've always been close. He's always my go to person. This is the hardest part about this move and I'm dreading it already. My dad's not the traveling kind of man so only time I'd ever see him would be to come home frequently. But with 8.5 hour drive and a toddler, it wouldn't be too often.
I've literally had non stop anxiety since we found out on Wednesday. So overwhelmed with it all and don't know where to begin 😔

Aww, it's gonna be hard on him but he will understand it's for the best for your family. Maybe he will start traveling to visit you guys via bus, train or plane so it won't be so hard on him! I'm sorry girl, I'm very close to my dad too & he's 6 hours away in prison and I haven't seen him in over a year! So it's definitely heartbreaking being away.

We move all the time like once a year I know if ppl want to see you they will find a way 💯 I haven’t seen anyone I know for years and I just gave up if ppl want to make excuses that’s what they’ll do or they will make the fly or drive 🤷🏼♀️

That's where we're at here at this point which is what made this decision a bit easier.

He just left, all he kept saying was f#ck, Maine, and shaking his head 🤦🏼♀️
He was just stopping by to drop off keys as he was pet sitting for us (lives 5 min away in my home town).
I'm hoping with the help of my step mom she can convince him to come.

It's a lot. I don't have a relationship with my mother and have very little family. But I know this is what's best for my family. I just wish it wasn't so far....or north 🤣
