I’m almost 31 years old.
Am I too old for a belly button piercing? I had one from 16 to 21yr old, but I took it out.
The more weight I loose, the more the place where I had the piercing looks.. weird.
Like extra skin.
But, a piercing would probably hide it.
If you saw a 31 year old mama with a belly button ring, would you think “knock it off, old lady?”

You’re never too old for piercings! I’ve gotten four in the past 12 months and 3 tattoos in the last 18 months. I’ll be 40 I. March. DO YOU AND ENJOY

I'm 31 and I've had mine in since I got it pierced at 16! I took it out several times because I just didnt care for it, but the whole never closed for me.
So NO! Rock it mama! 💗

And yesssssss Legitimately I have been wanting to get a piercing but I thought I was too old. I only have one hole in both my ears

They wouldn't go through the same hole. I personally wouldn't just because I had mine done twice for the same reason. The second one was a tad higher and it started ripping out through that tissue. I can show you a pic of what mine looks like after years of having it out 😅 obviously everyone has different experiences, but now it looks worse.

I wondered about this. The bottom half is totally still open - I’ve tried to put one back in just to see. It’s only a little skin on the top hole. Honesty, if I pushed hard it probably pop through. But, ew. screw that! Hahaha.
So I wondered if they’d do a totally new hole or use my old one since mine isn’t totally closed.

@jennatess if they did go through the same hole I'd say go for it. I'm only speaking from my own experience. For the record...you can never be too old for something you like cosmetic wise. Ask me when I'm an old granny still wearing my lip ring that will never get taken out 😂

Omg no! 😂 you’re so funny. Go for it mama. I still have mine in. It covers my loose skin a little bit, but I’m still losing weight. I took mine out when I was pregnant with my son, put it back in after and it went back to normal but not after this baby 😩

My MIL is 52 and has her belly button pierced. She got it done in her 40's. 🤷♀️ i say do it if you want to! Who cares what anyone thinks except you.

I'm 38 and still have my belly button pierced. I got mine done when I was 19. Not old at all.
