I need strength today.

I slept maybe one hour last night.

Someone was knocking on our door at around 10pm, and my husband was out of town last night for work, so that made me nervous.

Then the wind was blowing so hard all night - 60-65mph winds.

Eric woke up 4x and Faye woke up 3x crying.

And to top it all off, Fayes fish (who’ve I’ve gotten extremely attached to.) got hurt. Bad.

He got stuck under the filter against a stone. The current from the filter + the way he got stuck, he couldn’t get out. I had checked on him at 5pm and then when I found him at 9:00pm he was stuck. I turned off the filter super fast and he shot out like a rocket 😭. Now he isn’t able to swim and just laying on the bottom. His fins are butchered. I’m so upset.

I’m in a Betta Care Group on Facebook (I know, lame.), and they said if he doesn’t start to swim on his own by this afternoon then I need to humanely euthanized him myself instead of letting him slowly starve.

I’m just not looking forward to this day.
