If you dont make time for each other, something as little but yet so meaningful as "checking in". And seeing how the other has been? Is there anything on their mind that they have been wanting to discuss. Just taking that time each week... 15 minutes out of each others weekly schedule isnt so much to ask for. Spending 1 day, a couple hours at the end of the day to be with each other, weather it be sitting, talking and laughing or just being completely silent watching a movie. At least its something to do together. Spending 1 day 2 or 3 times a month and do a date night. Weather it be at home after kids are in bed or out somewhere.
I mean, none of that is alot to ask for and it should be things you WANT to do. Those are just a couple things that will help keep your relationship going and makes the other one feel valued. I know days get busy. But you should never be to busy to not enjoy talking and being with the person you are with.
Does anybody do this? Or at least try to. And is it tough getting your partner too?

We do , especially after having kids is super important to make your partner feel valued. We get a sitter and go on dates atleast 1-2 xs a month . Not as much as we’d like but it’s what we can do rn. We love to cook together shower together etc . We enjoy our alone time with each other after the kids go to bed . We started to put them to bed a lot earlier , around 7ish so we had more time for each other before we get super exhausted. And my husband is very cooperative if I want to do something he doesn’t really complain . I’m lucky on that aspect 😊

We just started to do a date night once a week. My MIL watches the kids. Before we started we’d been on maybe one date alone in the past few years. It was awful. Our friendship/romantic relationship is improving.
