Help! My son stopped sleeping in his own bed. He has been a good sleeper since he was born and slept through the night at nine months. Right before he turned two he started waking up an hour or two after we put him down. He screams and cries until we put him in our bed. We tried to let him cry it out but after 15 he was so worked up he got sick. It’s to the point where me and my husband get no time to our selves because one of us has to go lay down with him. This has gone on for almost 3 months and I am at a lose on how to get him in his bed again. Any tips are appreciated!

Have you tried sleeping with him in his room and leaving once he's asleep. Its probably a form of sleep regression. My daughter went through a faze of crying at night because she suddenly was scared of being alone. Anyway not sure if this suggestion will be helpful but I refused to put her in our bed and just stood with her till she slept and she outgrew it.

He actually falls asleep in his room but wakes up. I have tried going back in and waiting for him to fall asleep but in a few minutes he is back up. Maybe I gave up to quick! I have to get up at 4am for work so I just wanted to sleep. Now I am worried we made it a habit of having him in our bed!

@kristinsilk I completely understand. I'm sure he will grow out of it soon just try to encourage him to sleep in his bed as much as you can. Maybe put a toddler bed in your room to get him back into the habit? Again, I am no expert but I hope my advice helps.
