Breastfeeding does mess with your period. I was of the unlucky ones, I got it back quickly after both kids.

Ebf often stops your period for a while. My SIL didnt get hers at all for over a year of breast feeding. If you're on birth control then no need to worry

I breastfeed and take the mini pill. It was almost a full year before I got my period
