it really does hurt me how i haven’t gotten any proper rest since my son been born. & his father is here with me. but instead of waking up when he cries, he will literally sleep through it all & get mad at me when i say things like “damn i wish i could sleep through his cry”.
See this is why I’m scared to have any more kids. I refuse to be raising another all on my own. I have a boyfriend of 2 years who wants to have one in the future and I’m like nope. They like the fantasy of it, but when it comes down to doing the hard work they won’t. I think I’m too traumatized.
they loooovvvveeeeeee the fact that they’ve become a father but when it comes to breaking their rest & actually having to get up over & over to do things you’re not use to it’s sooooo hard. no you have to learn to adjust
U can tell him to help you every other night! if he doesn’t want to! I had twin girls so my husband have to help me lolz!!!!!
When breastfeeding, only one of you can do it really. My hubby always did the diaper changes at night. Adjusting to lack of sleep with your first child is rough! It gets better though 🤞
i pump before i sleep just so he can just grab the milk & feed it to him. he don’t even do b the diaper changes i do it all.
@queendope try to make a schedule! He gets up for the first feed, you do the next, etc. 😊
Girl just leave the baby there have all his stuff layed out leave and turn off your phone he’ll learn one way or the other
@kush_queen420, i try to avoid an argument i don’t even want to have. i most do my mommy duties & don’t even talk anymore.
@queendope, ya but he helped you make the kid the least he could do is help from time to time it’s not all your responsibility 😩
You need to talk with him about helping. He helped make the child, he needs to help care for him
i have talked to him. he pick & choose when he want to do but mainly i do it.
@queendope, keep talking. It has to click for him. My husband was the same way the first few weeks with our first
Napping during the day when baby sleeps is the best advice I got with my first!
