How many ounces of formula should a 6 week be eating and how often?

My daughter eats about 3.5oz every 3 hours, and she’s 5 weeks old. They shouldn’t be eating no more than 32oz in a 24 hour period.
That’s what I thought. She’s feeding her close to 70oz a day
I was concerned when my baby was 3 weeks old she was eating 4 oz every 2 hours I asked her dr about it and she said it’s fine feed her what she wants as long as she’s not throwing up after. If babys over fed baby will throw up
Okay good to know. My friends grandma is freaking out that’s she’s over feeding her
But is she throwing it up? I feel like most babies only take what they can and spit up what they can’t. But I could be totally wrong.
Faye was a huge eater. Eric is not. Lol. He’s 9mo old and I have to force him to finish 7oz half the time. Faye id have to practically hide the Baby Brezza. Hahaha
@llcoolkay, I bet she is. That’s a lot to take and not spit up.
@jennatess, I work with my friends grandma and she said the baby doesn’t spit up a lot but she has projectile vomited a couple of times after eating
My almost 3 week old it’s 2-3 ouches every 2-3 hours. 7 ounces is a lot for a 6 week old
I guess she’s just a big eater. She said at 3 days old she was 4oz
@doctorunicorngreys, @valerie_jean, right?? She said she recently switched to a formula that doesn’t have dairy in it so it’s normal for them to eat that much. But idk if I believe that

I prepare my daughter 8 oz but she only drinks 5-6oz(if I only make 6oz she wants more I’m like wtf lol then I just feed her the rest as she wants it if she does but she’s 4 months old and eats every 3ish hours.
My 8 month old has 6 ounces every 3-4 hours and he’s huge lol

Dang 7oz? Thats crazy lol im still only feeding 3oz sometimes 3.5oz every 2.5 to 3 hours
