Looks like I’ll be making my son another appointment. I got his formula switched to the sensitive similac about 3 months ago and he’s still having trouble pooping. I give him baby food prunes, pears, peas etc.. as well as prune and pear juice on a daily basis and he still has trouble going 😣😣

Apple juice is also a great way to help kids poop!

@shanellamari, his dr will probably prescribe some miralax or stool softener. My son had the same problem a while back.

@db413, yes! I tried the stool softener that was prescribed for him, but that seems to not help either!

Have you tried dark karo syrup ? That was a lifesaver for me with my daughter cause she had tons of tummy issues and digestive issues when she was a newborn till around 6 months when we finally got things to calm down .

@shanellamari, that was our life saver ! Within like 2 days her gas and belly issues completely turned around . We went to sensitive first and it didn’t seem to work much so I was scared to switch her again for it to be for no reason but eventually my doctor brought it up and I told her I had looked into it and was planning on asking her about it and she said she really believed she needed it and sent us home with a couple sample cans . Maybe ask your doctor what she thinks about that and give it a try .
