I was given something in my IV. Don’t remember what it’s called. It helped ease the pain but didn’t take it away. It allowed me to relax more between contractions. It wares off VERY QUICKLY. I was given it at 9cm and within 10minutes was at a 10 and started pushing. I felt everything lol

Was it Staydol? That’s what I had in my IV. It lets you relax for a bit, but does wear off faster than you want it too.
