Besides Epidural what did some do to ease the pain during labor?

That's a little extreme! I would not suggest anyone use fentynal .
@thisisnotaname, it’s a medical dosage and safe. It’s a common pain solution and given under the direction of a medical staff, it’s a good alternative to an epidural for people who don’t want an injection in their backs.

I was given something in my IV. Don’t remember what it’s called. It helped ease the pain but didn’t take it away. It allowed me to relax more between contractions. It wares off VERY QUICKLY. I was given it at 9cm and within 10minutes was at a 10 and started pushing. I felt everything lol
Was it Staydol? That’s what I had in my IV. It lets you relax for a bit, but does wear off faster than you want it too.

They said you can get laughing gas.
