When are newborns allowed to sleep like this. She rolled like this and fell asleep. Fussy for 30 minutes before that on her back trying to sleep so shes finally sleeping but on her side. Just want to make sure it's safe.
She'll be 5 months on the 16th

We co sleep and have been since she was a newborn. This is fine as long as there are no pillows that can roll on her😊 i always had a blanket on her but never around her or close to her face. I just watch her really close. As long as YOU know what you're doing.

As long as she can roll over and lift herself she will be fine
Is that a crib mattress? It looks really fluffy and the sheets a loose, which isn’t considered safe sleep. No blanket either: it’s fine if she’s rolling on a crib mattress with a fitted sheet that won’t block her face
No. It's my bed. She usually sleeps in a bassinet but she fell asleep
I was told as long as they do it by themselves it's ok. my daughter would end up on her side somehow 2nd day after being born and the nurses said it was ok as long as it wasnt me making her do it.
It’s okay if she rolls as long as there are no pillows or big blankets.
I'll move her blankets and the pillow above her, incase.
Once they can roll from front to back and back to front it’s ok. That’s what I was told about 5 years ago though
Not sure if she can roll back. I should move her, right?
@anicole3285, yes u can move her back but I’ll suspect she will roll right back over. I kept moving my kids to their backs and they kept rolling right back over haha
@ss3mom yes I did move her to her back and I looked over just now and she is back. Lol
