We had flu and then now a cold and charlies got gunky eyes where they are sealed shut in the morning... this has been over the weeknd n our dr dismisses everything anyway but can this be normal with a cold?
If its still the same in the morning... im taking him dr either way!

🚨🚨🚨🚨 mommas help me out, I called the Dr today becasue my little girls eye is always watery and had some goop in it that kept accumulating a little after id clean it (it just started this morning) they told me it could just be allergies or that it was normal to wipe it with warm water and put a cold compress on it. this is what it looks like now.... it wasnt this bad this morning it has gotten worse (I feel so bad for her) any mommas little ones have this or anyone know what it could be??? 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Gunky eyes with a cold is pretty normal, its viral conjunctivitis my middle son is prone to it. The doctor wont give you anything because its a virus, but your pharmacist will be able to give you some drops to help. I hope your little man is feeling better soon x

Oh really ... hes had so many colds but never that with his eyes....

Theres definitely something going around with conjunctivitis, we're all had it over Christmas and have had colds/chest infections before. Wash everything after 1 use, towles, flannels pjs etc, its highly contagious and use different flannels/cotton wool for each eye. Hope he's better soon xx

Weve had flu for 2 weeks now a horrible virus now this eye thing... its all been horrible.
