Anyone who has a 6 year old. Is your 6 year old always hungry? She has a pretty decent diet I don’t let them eat junk and she loves her veggies and fruits but she is always hungry lol even after dinner an hour or so later she wants more food 😩 I just don’t want her being obese or anything I was a big girl when I was her age it wasn’t fun! Growth spurt maybe?
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Idk what the deal is with my 8 year old but I’m gettin tired of the attitude and her throwing temper tantrums like a 2 year old. For the past 3 weeks she has been horrible to where I don’t even want to be around her because she’s being so ugly to everyone.
I have a one year old with lices and i didnt now some girls she was playing with had them and now she has some i dont now if i should take her so i can get medicine for the lies and i just check her and she has a alot and it bothers me that she straches her self ... has any one had a problem what can i use ??

My daughter is 6 and eats a lot lol. She has always had a big appetite but it’s twice as big now lol. Could be a growth spurt. My daughters doctor told me it’s fine to let her snack as long as it’s healthy stuff. My daughter has always been above average for her age. She snot overweight or big she’s just solid. As long as she’s healthy I wouldn’t worry to much about her weight.

Mines 9 but even when she was 7 she always has had a very big appetite. She is hungry all the time and always has been but she has also very active. She is still skinny even though she eats more than me. Some days she even eats more than my husband.

I wouldn't worry if it's healthy snacks. I mean fruit and veggies have such a small amount of calories compared to a bag of chips or crackers for example. She'd have to eat a ridiculous amount to even come close to too many calories. Maybe offer things that have protein like string cheese, cubed cheese, boiled eggs. My kids love meat roll ups. We take ham or turkey lunch meat and a slice of cheese or a string cheese and wrap it up. It's one of their favorite snacks and helps keep them full longer.

Yes my daughter is always hungry. Some days she eats more than me. She has her daddy's metabolism. She's tall, skinny and always wants to eat. I just try to offer fruit, veggies, nuts or a string cheese as snacks between meals.

Yeah those are the snacks I usually will offer her. She is y’all and skinny as well so I’m like where is all that food going lol I was a bigger kid all the way until like middle school so I’m like how?? Lol

Definitely sounds like a growth spurt. Just keep offering healthy snacks...but don't obsess about it or even talk about her weight because of how you were built growing up. That will end up causing horrible views of food.
