If your a single parent. Can you get free childcare for when child is 2? Or is it just 3-4 years old ? 😊

Some nurseries (like mine) are quite flexible about how you use your funding. We offer 3 half days (5hrs), 2 medium days (7.5 hours which is our most popular) or 1 and a half days (1 x 10 hour day and a 5 hour half day)

Usually it’s half a day for three days xx

From age 2 Lexi had the 15 free hours at playgroup. She went 5 days a week every morning and loved it! The playgroup which is literally a 2 minute walk from mine has gone now 😒 so got to find another for when Layla turns 2. Most places I have found only do playgroup without parents from age 2 and a half now! Within Lexi's school they do it but from 2 and a half xx

Yeah you’ll get 15 hours when Mia turns 2 but maybe get in touch with your local nursery soon to sort out forms and days/times xx
