Advice: so I work at walmart doing stocking and yes its heavy stuff!!! I'm 5 months now and I know I cant lift that stuff anymore. They only have one position available which is overnight stocking which doesn't make sense. Because I'll be doing the same thing I'm doing now! Idk what to do??

Have you tried talking to the SM? Escalate higher if need be. Its not like your asking to switch positions completely, but to a different area where you have no problem lifting the freight.

Yes you’ll need a doctors note letting them know you can’t lift a certain weight. I had to get a note from my doctor stating the same thing about lifting.

@india22, what did the doctor put on the note? My doctor told me that I can only lift a certain weight I think it like 30 pounds but even that I tried not to do and my coworker knew about it and she was like no you’re not lifting anything, but my boss was a different story. He was trying his best to be an asshole about it until I spoke to his boss about it

Are you on any of the cap teams, or just a regular associate? I was pregnant on cap 1 and they would just have me be HBA cap associate, the freight was the lightest in the department. I would still cap bins, but only the ones I didn't need a ladder for if I was the one capping and always had someone available back there to grab the boxes I couldnt lift. To stock the heavier boxes, I just took a couple out if the box at a time to stock.
If you are just a regular associate stocking freight, do you have anyone in the department that could help you with the heavier things?if not talk to your ASM.
At our store, if a pregnant associate needs light duty they usually just stick them at the fitting room..but I think they need a doctors note

Yes I'm a cap 1 associate. I spoke with my asm and my supervisor he told me basically I'm not big enough. But size doesn't matter. I'm 5 months... and it sucks because they still have my pulling certain pallets etc. I told them to put me in pharmacy.

@india22 if you have a note then they should abide by it. They never aloud me to move a pallet, or work anywhere heavy from the time they found out ( I had help even before that) but it all depends on management. It doesnt matter how "big" you are if they have the proper paper work, they should follow it. I dont see how moving you to be cap for otc, HBA, or Cosmetics will hurt them in anyway.
And now I've moved on to fixing my stock pile. Way too bored! I'm giving stuff away to husbands coworkers tomorrow 😢

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

@lpheartsyou that's what I said!! Everytime I talk to personnel she act like she dont care. Ughh it's annoying. I dont want to leave but if I have to than so be it.
