When do babies start talking in sentences ? When do they start copying your words ? My one does it…

Tbh my eldest is 4 in May and only the past 6 months I've been able to have proper conversations with her ahah. It all depends on the child though, there isn't a set age.

My daughter was about 2 I think when she was able to do small sentences xx

It’s only really been the last few months that Daisy has been speaking in full sentences

Every child is different. My eldest by age 2 was saying 2,3,4 word sentences, knew loads of everyday words, knew her alphabet (speaking and recognising the letters) and could count to 10 and by 2 and a half she was counting to 20. She has always been further ahead with her speech than others in her class xx

My little one went from not speaking at all (the only word he said from 15-21 months was duck) to 5-6 word sentences straight away. He was 21 months, his health visitor said that he was rather early. My little sister was early to, my brother was only using 2-3 word sentences until he was around 4. They are all completely different :)

All kids are completely different. My eldest was at least 3. And even now (almost 7) he hates talking and hates communication.

My youngest however never shuts up. He’s been using full sentences for a a while now.

It all depends on the child, my 2.5 year old still only talks in 1-2 word “sentences” by the books he’s delayed by 7months but he’s improving so he will in his own time xx
